Championships
The Tar Heels have won five NCAA tournament championships: in 1957, 1982, 1993, 2005 and 2009. The players that have come through UNC have had successful careers. People like Michael Jordan have had names brands, charities, and much more. Even if they didn’t have a successful career in basketball they succeeded in life. Many players are still playing today and are making a impact on the NBA. Coach Dean Smith and Coach Roy Williams have turned these men from boys to me.
Tar Heels players that have gone to the NBA (National Basketball Association). This is why we are an elite team.
